Home Companions Day Care Assisted Living Semi-Independent Care

Our daycare is held is held at our assisted living and therefore is available seven days a week. In order to start a person in daycare we need three forms: a physical by the doctor, a questionnaire about the persons like, dislikes, abilities, personality and one that contains statistical information (name address, social security number, insurance information and contact people). Once that has been received we do a trial day, minimum of four hours through a meal time, if things go well the person is then registered and can come at anytime by calling the day before or by prearranging a schedule.

Anyone approved for daycare has the option of overnight stays for up to 2 weeks. We like to think of this as an "insurance policy" as there will always be a place for the registered person to come in an unexpected situation or family emergency. We also schedule registered people for periods when the family is on vacation.

	During the day the person receives 2 meals and snacks. Hot meal served at noon.
	Daycare people can come as early as 7:00am and can stay until 7:30pm unless you are an overnight stay.
	All medication if administered by a nurse and records are kept.
